Core Solutions
The Information Hub Located at the heart of the shopping centre, this bespoke circular information center features vertical timber slats (battens). This design provides a sense of visual lightness to the substantial structure while acting as an intuitive landmark for visitors.
Vertical Timber Slats and Architectural Cladding Utilized across various zones, these vertical slats function as both an aesthetic and a structural tool. They define specific areas through visual zoning, creating a rhythmic flow and introducing a much-needed warmth to the large-scale commercial environment.
Amphitheater-Style Tiered Seating We created multi-functional wooden tiers with integrated seating, designed for both daily relaxation and organized public events. This installation fosters a sense of community, inviting visitors to pause and linger within the space.
Pergolas and Overhead Timber Installations Wooden structures in the upper reaches of the mall and pergola-style elements complement the overall interior architecture. These pieces bridge the different levels of the building, infusing the vast space with a sense of coziness and natural texture.
Value to the Project
In this project, wood was a strategic choice—it balances the sleek, modern architecture by reducing “visual coldness” and significantly enhancing the visitor experience. Every solution was engineered for intensive use, with a strict focus on durability, safety, and ease of maintenance.
